To get on the natural fortress of the Vercors, you are offered several possibilities:
- Les Grands Goulets***, when coming from Valence or Romans
- Les Gorges de la Bourne***, when coming from Grenoble
- Le Col de Rousset**, when coming from Die
If you've got some spare time, you can also use the road from Combe-Laval***, a picturesque road with an astonishing charm.
Once you get in la Chapelle en Vercors, just follow the road heading to Saint-Agnan en Vercors. 1 kilometer after La Chapelle en Vercors, well visible on your left hand side you'll see the "Auberge Le Collet"; turn right just after passing by, to take a small road climbing up. It's written on the sign "Le Fouletier" and "Gîte Panda". Follow up to 6 km on this road withs two hairpin bends, you'll be done after 300 meters of track yet perfectly suitable for your vehicule: welcome to the small paradise of Le Fouletier.
Even if the snowplough comes at the door, we strongly recommend you to choose appropriate equipment for your car (snow tyres or snow chains) when coming in winter. |
